CELLER8 PEMF ENERGY THERAPY
WHAT IS PEMF?
PEMF stands for Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields. The CELLER8 controller and mats have been designed to emit PEMF’s at beneficial and therapeutic frequencies, similar to those that the earth produces naturally. These fields can penetrate deep into your body’s tissues and interact with individual cells. Stimulating cellular activity, promoting regeneration, repair, pain relief and rehabilitation. The rate these fields are being emitted influence our physiological functioning, connecting our mental and physical processes without affecting our neuronal activity. This results in relaxation, focus, and improved cognitive function.

THE SCIENCE
There are thousands of study's when it comes to PEMF. Here is a list of studies from the last two decades about the effects
of PEMF:

One way the positive effects of PEMFs on the blood and cells within the body can be seen through a microscope instantly and these effects tend to last for hours even days after a session.
â
WHAT IS PEMF INTENSITY?
Intensity is the strength of the magnetic field produced from the PEMF therapy device; it is usually measured in Gauss. The CELLER8® PEMF device has an adjustable intensity of 1 – 100 Gauss to suit the user. This intensity range was not plucked out of the air and there is evidence that shows 10-100 gauss to be more effective in establishing a cellular response.

WHAT IS HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY?Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a painless and non-invasive oxygen therapy where you will sit and relax, breathing in oxygen, in a pressurized chamber.
-
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY?The increased pressure in the chamber allows blood plasma to absorb more oxygen at pressures greater than sea level. This, in turn, encourages the release of more energy, which enhances the bodyâs defence mechanism and promotes wellbeing and vitality naturally.
-
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A HBOT SESSION?At each therapy session, you will typically go through several stages, these can include⊠Stage 1 â HBOT Observations Every time you attend your HBOT session, your observations will be taken and recorded in your client paperwork. These observations include temperature, blood pressure, blood oxygen. Stage 2 â Chamber Compression Here the chamber will be pressurized to the required pressure, at this stage you may experience: Feeling warm for a few minutes at the start of your therapy Feeling a slight pressure may build in your ears or sinuses during the session, particularly at the beginning. You will be guided by your HBOT therapist to relieve any discomfort you may experience Stage 3 â Maintain pressure The chamber will be maintained at this pressure (depth) while you breathe in the oxygen for the duration of your programme (this is usually 60minutes) During this stage you may feel a little sleepy. Stage 4 â Chamber Depressurized Once your therapy session is finished, your therapist will depressurize your chamber and will help you out. After your session, you may feel cool and slightly tired for a while after your therapy. Just try to relax and take it easy for a while.
-
WHAT DOES HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY FEEL LIKE?Many people say that the beginning and end of a HBOT session feels like the take-off or landing of an aeroplane. As the pressure builds in the chamber, the pressure builds within your ears, which may leave you with an ear-popping or fullness sensation. This sensation usually only last 10-15 minutes, and our therapists will guide you to relieve any ear pressure. Once the desired pressure is reached you may feel sleepy, and you can relax and breathe normally for the duration of your session.
-
IS HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY SAFE?Yes! Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an extremely safe, non-invasive therapy. There are very few potential side effects â and they are extremely rare. Your HBOT therapist will talk you through the safety procedures at your initial assessment. However, let us reassure you that your safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of everything we do. Our HBOT chambers have built-in safety devices to minimise any potential risk and our therapists have all been full trained in the use of our HBOT chamber.
-
WILL I FEEL CLAUSTROPHOBIC?It is possible for some people to feel a little claustrophobic during their therapy session. However most chambers have several viewing panels which help prevent this and allow as much light into the chamber as possible. You will never be locked into the chamber so if your claustrophobia becomes overwhelming, we will can open the chamber within 30 seconds and your HBOT therapist will guide you with your breathing to help you relax again.
-
IS HBOT PAINFUL?No. Most people who use HBOT find their sessions relaxing and peaceful. You may experience some mild ear fullness which is like the sensation you experience during flight take-off or landing. However, HBOT should not be painful. If you do have any earaches during your therapy, let your HBOT therapist know straight away and they will adjust the pressure of the chamber to relieve the ear pressure.
-
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BOOK MY HBOT CONSULTATION?HBOT consultations are essential for new customers who have not used the hyperbaric chamber before. When you book the consultation via our website, you will be automatically sent an email (please check your junk mail) with next steps. You will be required to complete 2 x online consultation forms and purchase your own mask for your first session. It is recommended to book your consultation just before your first session, but you can just attend a consultation before you book any sessions.
-
WHY DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?The consultation is essential for us to ensure that we can offer you a safe and effective tailored therapy programme. This consultation allows us to understand you and your needs,, so we are them able to determine the appropriate HBOT programme, based on medical history and latest clinical research. We will explain the science behind the therapy and also answer any questions that you may have. You will see the chamber and have a full brief of how it works and what to expect.
-
CAN ANYONE HAVE HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY?No. Although you can refer yourself to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and most people are suitable, we must assess your suitability for the therapy before we proceed. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy may not be suitable for you if any of the following apply to you: A collapsed lung Upper respiratory infections Chronic sinusitis or sinus problems High fever Severe emphysema or other breathing problems Pregnancy
-
CAN I USE HBOT IF I HAVE A COLD OR AM FEELING UNWELL?We may need to delay your therapy if you have a cold, fever, flu-like systems, frequent loose stools, or other illnesses such as high blood pressure. This is because a cold or illness may affect your ability to clear your ears when using a HBOT chamber, which could lead to an inner ear injury.
-
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY THERAPY SESSION?We find that itâs best to have a light meal at least one hour before your therapy session. If you have diabetes, your blood glucose will be checked before and after each session, because Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can occasionally lower blood glucose levels. If you take any medications, including non-prescription medication, please advise the HBOT therapist at your initial assessment, and please make us aware of any changes which may occur between your initial assessment and an appointment. Please do not smoke, drink alcohol or fizzy drinks for four hours before your session. And where possible, avoid all tobacco during the period of your therapy and thereafter to avoid any conflicts.
-
HOW MANY HBOT SESSIONS WILL I NEED TO SEE ANY RESULTS?The â40-hour protocolâ is considered by experts as the gold standard for many of the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. However, everyone is different, so we will personalise your programme to you and your needs. Likewise, results will vary depending on your programme, situation and needs. Some people see benefits straight away, whereas others may not see benefits until they complete their full therapy programme.
-
HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?A typical session lasts around 1.5 hours, of which you will be delivered oxygen for 1 hour within this session.
