When used together, infrared heat enhances the effects by: * Warming the body beforehand, making lymphatic flow more efficient * Loosening tissues and fat cells, allowing toxins to move more easily * Increasing sweat and detox through skin as well as lymphatic system * Supporting relaxation, pain relief, and muscle recovery Pressotherapy is not recommended for individuals with the following: - Any chronic illness in an active flare-up stage - Malignant or benign tumours - Actively having radiotherapy - Pregnancy or breastfeeding (may impact uterine tone or milk production) - Postpartum (2–6 months after birth or caesarean section) - Menstruation (can increase bleeding and cause dizziness) - Acute thrombophlebitis, recent vein surgery (less than 2 months) - Cardiovascular conditions including severe hypertension - Enlarged lymph nodes or hernia (excluding spinal) - Fever, viral infection, or cold-like symptoms - Epilepsy, nervous system or mental health disorders - Skin injuries, ulcers, bacterial or fungal infections, psoriasis or neurodermatitis - Thyroid disorders - Genitourinary or reproductive illnesses - Pacemakers, metal implants, or prosthetics We will require written medical consent if you have an active or recent cancer diagnosis and recent surgery, especially liposuction. Potential Side Effects: - Temporary increase in blood pressure, dizziness, or warmth in the face - Increased urination due to active detox effect - Possibility of slight bruising or hematomas, especially with sensitive skin or weak vessels
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, 24 hours notice is required for funds to be transferrable. Less than 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule will result in all monies being non refundable. For full wellbeing packages, we will require at least 48 hours notice for appointment to be transferrable to refundable. Failure to give adequate notice for cancelling will result in lost appointment credit and all monies paid being non-refundable. Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, the time will be deducted from your treatment duration. Unfortunately, we’re unable to extend sessions due to subsequent client bookings.
